Tag Buy is a cutting-edge e-commerce application designed to revolutionize the way consumers interact with brands and products online by harnessing the power of social media. In todayโ€™s digital landscape, shopping is no longer confined to standalone websites or apps; instead, it is woven seamlessly into the fabric of usersโ€™ everyday social interactions. Tag Buy capitalizes on this shift by allowing users to discover, share, and purchase products directly through their favorite social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Design Process

The design journey for Tag Buy App was crafted through four core phases, focusing on enhancing user engagement, simplifying product discovery, and integrating seamless e-commerce experiences. The process brought together strategy, creativity, and execution to build a scroll-stopping social commerce platform for creators and consumers.

The Problem

People are constantly discovering new products while browsing social media, but actually buying those products is often a hassle. Users typically have to leave the social platform, search for the item elsewhere, and go through a multi-step checkout processโ€”leading many to abandon their purchase.Influencers and brands also struggle to convert social engagement into sales, and thereโ€™s often a lack of trust around sharing payment details or the legitimacy of products on social platforms. This disconnect results in lost sales, frustrated shoppers, and missed opportunities for everyone involved.
